E-Bike Service Guidelines
We're happy to service e-bikes and help keep you rolling. Because e-bikes have some unique needs, please take a moment to read through the guidelines below before bringing yours in. Please note, that e-bike flat changes may require extra time than our standard flat change turn around time. Our goal is to provide safe, reliable service while making sure that you know what to expect.
To make sure we provide the best and safest service possible, here’s what you should know before bringing an e-bike in:
-
Mechanical Service Only
-
We work on all the same things we do for regular bikes—brakes, shifting, wheels, tires, suspension, etc.
-
We do not test, repair, or diagnose motors, batteries, or electronic displays for e-bikes brands that we do not sell in store.
-
-
Approved Brands
-
We service e-bikes from established brands with standard bicycle components.
-
Unfortunately, we cannot accept e-bikes from some direct-to-consumer or unbranded manufacturers due to parts and safety concerns.
-
We cannot service e-bikes with bench-style seating, your e-bike must have a seat post.
-
-
Battery Safety
-
Please remove and bring your battery separately if possible.
-
Damaged, swollen, or leaking batteries cannot be accepted in our shop for safety reasons.
-
-
Tune-Ups & Repairs
-
E-bikes are heavier and sometimes more complex than traditional bikes, so service pricing may vary. We’ll always give you an estimate before we start.
-
Our goal is to keep your e-bike safe, reliable, and fun to ride. If you’re unsure whether we can work on your bike, give us a call or stop by—we’re always happy to take a look.
