Blur Cycleworks Group Ride Waiver and Release of Liability

By registering for or participating in any group ride organized by Blur Cycleworks, I acknowledge, agree to, and represent the following:

1. Voluntary Participation

I am voluntarily participating in this group ride organized by Blur Cycleworks. I understand that cycling is a physically demanding activity that involves inherent risks, including but not limited to the risk of accident, injury, illness, property damage, or even death.

2. Assumption of Risk

I understand that riding in a group increases the potential for collisions and other hazards, and that terrain, weather, traffic conditions, and the actions of other riders can all contribute to risks. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown.

3. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Blur Cycleworks, its owners, employees, ride leaders, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury (including death) that I may sustain while participating in or traveling to or from a group ride.

4. Medical Fitness

I certify that I am physically fit and capable of participating in the group ride. I do not have any health condition that would prevent me from safely participating. I understand it is my responsibility to bring adequate water, nutrition, and necessary medications.

5. Equipment Responsibility

I certify that my bicycle is in safe working order and that I will wear a helmet at all times during the ride. I will also follow all traffic laws, ride rules, and any instructions from ride leaders.

6. Code of Conduct

I will ride responsibly, respectfully, and courteously with others. I will not use earbuds or headphones (including bone-conduction types) during the ride, and I understand lights may be required depending on time and conditions.

7. Media Release

I grant permission to Blur Cycleworks to use photographs, video, or other media that may include my image for promotional purposes. I understand that no compensation will be provided.

8. Minors

If signing on behalf of a minor participant, I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian and that I agree to the terms of this waiver on their behalf.
